All About Brie

Growing up in Western Colorado Brie began taking dance lessons at the early age of four and forever fell in love!  She studied various styles throughout her youth such as classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and lyrical.  Brie frequently trained and performed with multiple local and Denver-based studios in her youth performing various roles including many leads in various productions and ballets.  She traveled to various cities to participate in regional and national dance competitions and conventions where she won numerous awards for her dancing talents and choreography.

She has over 20 years experience educating and training dancers of all ages, levels, and abilities.  In this time Brie has instructed and choreographed for several local and regional dance studios, companies, and organizations.  She has had the honor of working and training with several of the industries most notable instructors and choreographers.  She has won numerous awards and has been recognized by several dance organizations for her innovative choreographic works. 

A childhood dream became a reality when Brie opened Inspire Dance Company back in 2014 located in Grand Junction, CO.  The Inspire Dance Company family accomplished many great things together over the years, but due to health and family the doors to iDC closed with a Farewell Recital in Spring 2022.   Brie loves to bring out the passion, emotion, and technique in each and every dancer she gets the opportunity to train with! 

Brie is also honored to have helped co-develop Western Colorado Dance Theater, a local non-profit 501(c)(3) with a mission to provide larger scale performance opportunities to the local youth dancers and contribute to the performing arts culture within our community.  Brie both directed and choreographed full scale local productions and youth-ballets for WCDT.  You may have seen some her works performed at the Historic Downtown Avalon Theatre including “Frost, A Winter’s Tale,” “Wizard of Oz, the Ballet,” and most recently, “A Nightmare Before Christmas.” 

Most recently Brie has  continued her graphic arts journey designing digital & print media for dance studios  in various other states.  This has helped give her a connection to the dance industry through her time away from  the dance life she always knew and loved.  She also looks forward to guest teaching and choreographing for dance studios in the Four-Corners region beginning this fall.
